mission of the Human Resources Office (HRO) is to coordinate human resource
policy, practices, and procedures as they relate to full-time federal employees
in the Nevada National Guard. This web site provides up-to-date information to
the full-time members of the Army and Air National Guard. The HRO serves as The Adjutant General's single span of control for managing and
administering the Nevada Army and Air National Guard full-time personnel
The Human Resource Directorate will assist the Nevada National Guard meet the needs of Federal and State missions by attracting, developing, motivating and retaining a talented workforce. The HRO will accomplish this vision trhough the following tennats.

Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Branch
Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Airman/Soldiers serve full time and enjoy the same benefits and entitlements as active duty Airman/Soldiers. As an AGR, you receive full pay, benefits, and medical care for you and your dependents, and the opportunity for retirement after 20 years of active service. Soldiers serving within the AGR program are stationed throughout the state in local communities and worldwide in positions that directly support the Nevada National Guard.
Technician (TN) Branch
Federal Military Technician (dual status) is a Federal civilian employee who is
employed under section 3101 of Title 5 or section 709 (b) of Title 32. They are
required as a condition of that employment to maintain membership in the Nevada
National Guard. Military Technicians are assigned to a civilian position as a
technician in the administration and training of the National Guard or in the
maintenance and repair of supplies or equipment issued to the National Guard or
the armed forces.
