CPT Chaz Fernandez is the NVARNG Retirement Services Officer, overseeing the non-regular (traditional/M-DAY) retirement process. 

CPT Fernandez supports both current M-DAY Soldiers going through the retirement process as well as "Gray Area Retirees" who previously retired from the NVARNG and are approaching age 60. 

M-DAY Soldiers approaching their retirement eligibility window (18-20 years) are encouraged to contact him to set up an appointment and learn about the retirement process. Gray Area Retirees are encouraged to contact him no later than 9 months prior to their Retirement Pay Eligibility Date (RPED).
