Chief Master Sergeant Sherdean S. Din

 Chief Master Sergeant Sherdean S. Din is the State Command Chief, Nevada National Guard, Carson City, Nev. She serves as The Assistant Adjutant General’s principle military advisor on all enlisted matters affecting training, readiness, health of the force, and professional development for all enlisted members of the Nevada Air National Guard.

CMSgt Din began her career as a Weather Forecaster in the USAF in December 2000. Upon completion of her enlistment in January 2005 she transferred into the Alaska Air National Guard. During her time in the AKANG she served as both an NCOIC in the FSS, and in a joint assignment with the Alaska Counterdrug Support Unit. In March 2011 Chief Din transferred to the Nevada Air National Guard where she has served in many roles to include Personnel, Production Recruiter, Base Records Manager, Recruiting Flight Chief and as the Recruiting and Retention Senior Enlisted Leader. Prior to assuming the role of State Command Chief, she served as the Senior Enlisted Manager for the 152 MDG/Det 1, where she managed both the Group and the Detachment, overseeing the daily full-time responsibilities, while continuing to perform as an active leader in the Nevada CERFP CBRNE Enhance Response Force Package.

CMSgt Din deployed to Afghanistan in direct support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM. She has provided support to numerous drug interdiction missions while assigned to the Counterdrug Support Unit. Most recently she served as the Recruiting Field Advisory Council President, Chiefs Council President, Enlisted Field Advisory Council Alternate and has participated in various national, state and wing level councils and boards.
