Chief Master Sgt. Javier Sosa
Joint Senior Enlisted Leader

Chief Master Sgt. Javier Sosa is the Joint Senior Enlisted Leader, Nevada National Guard Headquarters, located in Carson City, Nev. He is responsible for shaping the enlisted force through strategic development, future planning, and the implementation of key processes that ensure the operational readiness and professional development of all enlisted members on the joint staff. 

Sosa previously worked at the 152nd Airlift Wing and Operations Group of the Nevada Air National as the Wing First Sergeant. Additionally, Sosa served as the Executive Assistant to The Adjutant General of the State of Nevada. Sosa deployed overseas while assigned to the Logistics Readiness Squadron, in direct support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM and OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM. Sosa also volunteered for Exercise ALLIED FORGE and the commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of Operation OVERLORD. Sosa was a proud member of the 152nd Airlift Wing Base Honor Guard for more than 10 years.
